Transactions

Transactions are the foundation of Payment Center. Every payment creates a transaction record.

Transactions List

The Transactions list provides a comprehensive view of all payment activity and key metrics.

Transaction Metrics

At the top of the Transactions page you see your total sales, transaction count, and refunds total.

Alerts

Alerts highlight transactions held for review because of potential fraud, and authorizations pending capture.

Search and Filter Capabilities

You can search by customer name, date, transaction ID, amount, or card last four digits. Filters include date range, source, type, and status. Filters can be combined for more precise results.

Transaction Details View

Selecting a transaction shows payment information, customer details, billing and shipping addresses, transaction history, an itemized breakdown (if applicable), and possible actions for that transaction.

Take Payments

The Payment Center allows you to process both quick payments and itemized sales. You can access the payment form by going to Payment Center > Transactions and clicking or tapping Take a Payment.

After a successful payment, you see the transaction ID, amount charged, date and time, and options to send an email receipt, take a new payment, or view transaction details. The transaction is created immediately in the system, the customer receives confirmation if an email address was provided, funds queue for settlement to your account, and the transaction appears in the Transactions list for tracking and management.
