Accept Card Information

This section covers the implementation steps needed to complete the server-side and client-side setup for accepting card information with Microform Integration.

Implementing Microform Integration for card information is a three-step process:

Complete server-side setup

Generate the capture context with a server-to-server call to the sessions API. This authenticates your merchant credentials and returns a JSON Web Token (JWT) that contains a transaction-specific public key and the available payment options for the client side. For details, see Server-Side Setup.

Complete client-side setup

Load the Flex Microform v2 JavaScript library in the browser, create the card number and security code fields, and handle form submission to produce a transient token. For details, see Client-Side Setup.

Use the transient token

Receive the transient token, validate its signature using the public key from the capture context, and use it in place of the card information in your payment request. The transient token expires 15 minutes after it is issued. For details, see Transient Tokens for Accepting Card Information.
